From Darkness to Light: A Journey of Resilience and Transformation with Jennifer Hernandez

In this week’s episode I chat with Jennifer, she’s an author, mom, and serial entrepreneur.

She talks about her childhood and the horrific things she experienced such as parental abandonment, unstable living conditions, substance abuse, and teen pregnancy. As a teen in the midst of the trauma she was looking for belonging and connection and turned to the gangs in Chicago.

She continued at full speed like a runaway train trying to heal the pain through drugs and relationships with boys. It wasn’t until she was pregnant with her daughter that her path changed. She wanted to share her journey of how she overcame these obstacles while being a single parent and how her perspective of these things happening for her not to her helped her get to where she is today.

Be sure to tune in to hear more of Jennifer’s story.
