Sad Times Don’t Have to Be Lonely Times

In this week’s episode, I chat with Kevin Crispin, he’s a fellow podcaster who hosts the Sad Times Podcast who graciously allowed me to be a guest on his podcast. As we chatted there, we realized we had a lot of similarities in our mental health journies. I wanted to bring Kevin on to have an open and honest chat about managing anxiety, seeking help, and medication.

He shares what he does when he feels the anxiety creeping in and taking over such as practicing mindfulness. He also talks about knowing when it’s time to change medications because they’re no longer working or he’s no longer feeling good while on them.

He shares there can be an upside too. His anxiety sparks his creativity too. He tries to tap into this creativity on a daily basis as she strives to share the stories of others.

Ultimately, his goal is to let others know they’re not alone in the struggle.
